PASTEL CLASS MATERIALS Minimum 12-color soft chalk pastel set, 24-36 colors is preferred (Rembrandt or Sennelier are the better but more expensive choices, while Alphacolor is an adequate and less expensive brand) 4 sheets of pastel paper each class (Traditionally, people use richly colored pastel or charcoal papers such as Canson Mi Tiennes, Ingres charcoal paper, or Strathmore. Hot or cold pressed watercolor paper or toned paper.)
