Welcome to The John Kilroy Fine Art Academy Information Page

Soon we will announce some exciting news about some other class and workshop instructors
that we are currently talking with.

Currently, John Kilroy teaches an integrated program of classes.

We are going to bring to Rockland some nationally renown artists for various studio and outdoor workshops.
We are going to also offer business and organizational skills classes and workshops. Other media and craft offerings will also be made available.

The best news is these will be at an EXTREMELY reasonable cost, since our goal is to be pro student and use service and quality as our main selling point. We know that satisfied teachers and clients benefit from the results that come from personal service, fairness, honesty and quality.
Word of mouth is still the best form of advertising.

The classes are stated for all abilities level.  Group learning is very effective.
Our teaching methods are very customized to each students.
Not all students are working on the same project or assignment.
The level of the student is determined by John, who then customizes a structured program
where the students are taken through exercises each class that train their eye and
challenge them to work on their strengths and weaknesses, to become more familiar with the
language of painting. He will discuss your goals and intention for your developing artistic skills.
This form of teaching is rare, setting up a foundation for learning mind, eye, and hand coordination skills.

We like to keep the classes intimate for direct interaction with the teacher.
The students will also have additional help from the teacher's assistant with set up, questions, etc.
